Co-founder & CEO

Sam Hatoum

Sam has been writing software for 42 years. He co-founded Xolvio with his brother Rami, bringing a background in software architecture and testing.

His work focuses on understanding how a business operates and making that understanding useful to the people building its systems. At Xolvio, he applies collaborative modeling and delivery practices to intelligent automation and Auto.

He also publishes SpecDriven, an independent publication on specification, software delivery, and building with AI.

Co-founder & CTO

Rami Hatoum

Rami has been writing software for 44 years. He taught his brother Sam to code when Sam was eight.

His experience spans small startups and large enterprises. He co-founded PlaceBuzz and has held technical and delivery roles at IBM, BT, BBC Worldwide and AKQA.

Rami is the architect behind Auto. He has spent years working on the problem it addresses: turning an understanding of how a business works into software that can carry out the work.

Our experience runs through test-driven and behavior-driven development, collaborative discovery, domain modeling, distributed systems, cloud delivery, GraphQL, and event sourcing.

We apply what we have learned through successive changes in software development to AI-assisted engineering.

We built Auto from that experience to turn business processes and expertise into working systems.
