Build and support an Agile process with our cross-functional software development teams and our clients to help develop the overall capability of the teams and maximize their effectiveness and happiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run the ceremonies: standups, planning, showcases, retrospectives, and so on.
- Ensure the Definition of Done principle is being applied to all incoming work
- Identify project risks and raise them proactively
- Focus on people and Continuous Improvement all the time; provide the team a platform for improvement not only during the retro but all the time. Create a safe environment for healthy conflict and meaningful collaboration.
- Identify process issues and improve them
- Work with stakeholders and product owners to ensure clear backlog prioritization with requirements being written ahead of time
- Remove blockers and impediments so the teams can continue to work with minimal disruption
- Identify, manage and mitigate risks and issues to improve the productivity of the team and de-risk delivery
- Monitor and review sprint metrics to help the agile teams adjust and improve estimating, planning and velocity
- Communicate sprint progress, blockers and risks with stakeholders and foster transparency and inclusion
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working as a Facilitator/Agile Coach/Scrum Master in a software development environment
- Flexible to work in a hybrid approach like Scrumban
- Experience with Kanban and applying WIP limits is a plus
- Communicative and social with a passion for building high performing and self-organizing teams
- Assertive and confident with a natural ability to facilitate conflict resolution but make tough decisions when required
- Experience of using Jira tools for planning, tracking and metrics
- Promoting transparency and alignment through radiating information for teams and stakeholders
- Supporting product owners with the communication of updates as well as with backlog maintenance
- Experience in project management/team leadership in software development
- Bilingual / Native English is a must, with excellent writing skills
- Remote work in US Eastern Time Zone
